Dhivya Polytechnic College was established in Chetpet in 2008 by B.Selvarajan Educational Trust under the leadership of Managing Trustee Thiru. B.Selvarajan. The College got the approval from Government of Tamil Nadu and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliation to Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai.

The management has an excellent track record for more than 20 years in running schools, College of arts and science, College of Education and Teacher Training Institutes in very high standards.
